Free bicycle service for staff and students

On Tuesday the 22th of May between 10-14, Sportson Patrol - a bicycle repair shop, will be at Handelshögskolan, Gothenburg University to offers free basic bicycle service for employees and students. Take the opportunity to pump the tires, lubricate the chain, adjust the gears and make your bike ready for spring!

Invitation to the IT Faculty's Spring Ceremony

WLAN (eduroam/NOMAD) not available Saturday 4 February

A major upgrade of the WLAN-networks (eduroam & NOMAD) is planned for Saturday 4 February. The WLAN-networks will be down most of the day.

Thesis competition on innovation

Nytt&Nyttigt – a thesis competition on the theme of innovation, commercialization and utilization. The authors of the three best theses will receive travel grants à 30.000, 20.000 and 15.000 SEK!
The competition is open for theses projects presented at Swedish university colleges and universities during the academic year 2011–2012. Entries must be at bachelor or master level. The thesis
must have received the degree VG (if given). We need your thesis no later than June 21, 2012.

National Degree Project Pool is closing

The National Degree Project Pool had some technical difficulties lately and several participating universities have chosen to leave the service, leading to increased costs for remaining higher education institutions. Therefore, the pool will shut down from 31 March 2012. The university is now working to find a better system for handling thesis proposals as well as internship and job postings.
