The ferry Älvsnabben runs between Klippan - Eriksberg - Slottsberget - Lindholmspiren - Rosenlund - Lilla Bommen (and back). You get of at Lindholmspiren. The ferry Älvsnabbare runs between Rosenlund (below Järntorget) directly to Lindholmspiren and back.

...by bus

To travel from the city center to the department it is easiest to catch bus 16. It will take you to Lindholmen in 7 minutest. Bus 16 is also the best alternative for travelling between Chalmers campus Johanneberg and Lindholmen. Other busses that will take you here (bus stop Lindholmen) are 30, 31 and 99. From Götaälvbron, Tingstadstunneln, E6, E20 and 45 follow directions to Norra Älvstranden to Lindholmsmotet. Turn left under the railroad towards Lindholmen. The drive along Karlavagnsgatan to Lindholmen. From Älvsborgsbron follow directions to Norra Älvstranden through Lundbytunneln. Follow signs to Norra Älvstranden and then Lindholmen.

Parking is available next to Teknikgatan as well as in the multi story car park in the intersection between Teknikgatan and Kunskapsgatan.
