This includes issues as how the individual could be supported by information technology in the relationship with healthcare, as well as issues of high relevance to clinical research involving regional actors like Astra Zeneca.
Involved researchers are active in national conferences like Vitalis with a focus on innovation related to IT in healthcare. Also, they are involved in the development of teaching literature, university courses and thesis projects.
This theme is of high relevance to both the individual and society including the citizen’s relationship with healthcare. A central issue here is how the modern individual in her role as patient, citizen and consumer be supported by information technology in the relationship with healthcare.
