Vivianne Apelman

I have been a lecturer and tutor at the Division for Language and Communication at Chalmers university of Technology since 1996. Before that I taught phonetics and grammar at the English department at Göteborg University and at Högskolan Väst. I have a particular interest in linguistics and English for specific purposes and find teaching communication skills to technical students an exciting and inspirational challenge.

My research interest focuses on work place communication in English, which is also the topic of my licentiate thesis English at Work – The communicative situation of engineers. (see GUPEA, https://gupea.ub.gu.se/handle/2077/23780)
